Capturing the Executive Circle for Service Now

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the Executive Circle event hosted by Service Now at the stunning QAGOMA (Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art). It’s one of those moments as a photographer where everything aligns to create something truly special – from the subject matter to the venue, and even the Brisbane skyline at night, which served as a breathtaking backdrop for the evening.

This exclusive event brought together industry leaders to discuss the crucial topic of "Climbing the AI Maturity Curve." It wasn’t just about the present state of AI but also about the future – how businesses can influence AI adoption for maximum ROI and competitive advantage. The discussion touched on the strengths and gaps in how Australian enterprises are currently approaching AI, with a deep dive into what this means for technology investment, talent development, and the skills that businesses need to cultivate today for tomorrow’s success.

The panel discussion was led by some incredible minds:

  • David Thodey: Chair of Xero and Ramsay Health, and former CEO of Telstra.

  • Dr. Larry Marshall: A scientist, technology innovator, and business leader.

  • Moderated by Kristy Pinson: Enterprise Sales Director at ServiceNow.

The thoughtful discussion really struck a chord with me as I witnessed these conversations unfold in such a beautiful setting. The combination of modern business thinking and the contemporary art surroundings at QAGOMA created an inspiring atmosphere. Guests were also treated to a private tour of the Seeds + Sovereignty exhibition, which highlighted the connection between land, culture, and identity – an experience that added another layer of depth to the evening.

And let’s not forget the culinary experience! The event featured a beautifully curated menu crafted with native Australian ingredients. This focus on local, sustainable produce tied in so perfectly with the themes of innovation and growth that were central to the evening.

It’s moments like these, where art, culture, and business intersect, that remind me why I love what I do. Being able to capture these events through photography and be a part of such inspiring experiences is incredibly rewarding. The Executive Circle was a prime example of how thoughtful conversations can spark change, and I’m grateful to ServiceNow for allowing me to be part of this unforgettable night.

Looking back, the night was truly about more than just AI – it was about vision, growth, and community. I look forward to seeing where these discussions will lead and to photographing many more events like this in the future!
